Samsung will officially announce its long awaited folding Galaxy phones in november this year. But the device will not be available till next year. Samsung is preparing to bring the new phone to the world and has just trademarked The Future Unfolds which seems to be the tagline of its folding phone's marketing.
Samsung applied for protection of the trademark The Future Unfolds yesterday at the European Union Intellectual Property Office EUIPO. In many ways this is a very suitable motto for one of the world's first phones with a foldable display.
Well, there is no guarantee that Samsung will use the tagline for promotions of the device. Big companies often trademarks multiple names and taglines to guarantee their availability in the future if they ever need to use them.
But this does not alter the fact that the choice of words is extremely striking, and could at least partly be supported by that one product the smartphone lovers have been waiting for for so long, A foldable Galaxy device.
If at last the Korean tech giant uses its slogan for their upcoming folding screen Galaxy device, consumers may begin to see the phrase "The Future Unfolds" on the the media from December this year or January next.
