Samsung is all geared up to launch its Galaxy S10 lineup on 20th of february in San Francisco at the Unpacked event. Now Samsung has officially teased that its Foldable flagship device Galaxy F will also be revealed at the event. The teaser states The future unfolds hinting to the launch of the foldable Galaxy smartphone.
At the Developers conference Samsungs mobile division chief DJ Koh officially revealed the device. The Samsungs foldable phone uses infinity flex display technology that allows the phone to fold and unfold.
Samsung is certainly not the first smartphone manufacturer to develop a foldable phone, fellow technology giants Huawei and Xiaomi are also working on their own versions of the foldable display technology.
Chinese technology startup Royale has already released a phone with foldable display. The device is called FlexPai folding phone which was launched in 2018. We have to wait and see how the people reacts to the foldable smartphone by Samsung.
Samsung has previously said that the company will release a consumer oriented device that features a flexible display in 2019 with mass production starting in the coming months. Now we know the launch date that's 20th of this month.
