WhatsApp introduces 5 recent updates and here they are

Facebook owned instant messaging app Whatsapp is the largest of its kind with over a billion users. It frequently releases updates to ensure users get the best experience out of it.

Five recent updates and changes they bring with them are listed below:

WhatsApp for Android beta: The beta version of WhatsApp comes with a "Report" feature that allows users to report, block and save chat history of individual contacts and groups too. This update is currently available only for Android beta users. A public rollout of the version is expected to come soon.

Picture In Picture mode for Android:

Whatsapp's 2.18.234 version enables the users watch YouTube and Instagram videos in WhatsApp using the Picture In Picture mode. The feature is not yet available for the public. But the company is working hard to add this update to its platform.

WhatsApp Group Calling:

WhatsApp announced the group calling for voice and video feature on July 30. Users can make a group call with up to four people at a time. You can start an individual voice or video call and tap the new add participant button in the top right corner to add more contacts to the call.

Forward Message Limit:

WhatsApp has now put a limit to messages you can forward daily. The feature is added to limit spam messages spread over night. Whatsapp is currently testing a lower limit of 5 chats at once. Before this step WhatsApp had started labelling forwarded messages.

New GIF and Stickers for WhatsApp Web:

On July 31, users spotted a GIF sharing tool on the chat app. WhatsApp is currently working on this feature for an upcoming update. This feature will make your chats through WhatsApp more interesting and entertaining.
