The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will probably become official next month, a year after Mi Mix 2s arrival, and the alleged Mi Mix 3 has just surfaced in real life images. With the advent of edge to edge displays, smartphone design has moved up to a notch. Screen to body ratios have increased, providing users with more room to interact with their gadgets.
Now, with the Mi Mix 3, Xiaomi will remove the notch and allegedly replace it with a pop up selfie camera setup. Today, weve got to see the devices live image leak that shows Mi Mix 3 will feature its predecessors metal and glass/ceramic build.
The device shown in images comes with two rear facing cameras, which are vertically aligned, and which protrude on the back a little bit. A dual LED flash is included below those two cameras, and the back of this phone is slightly curved on the sides.
Mi Mix 3 will sport a really thin chin below the display, though it will be almost non existent, while the rest of its bezels will probably be gone, even though we dont really get to see the upper portion of the phones front side here. The device will not sport a 3.5mm headphone jack, while the Type C USB port and a loudspeaker will be included on the bottom. The phone showed in the pictures is clearly running Xiaomis MIUI skin, so its possible that this is the upcoming Mi Mix 3.
In the leaked images a fingerprint scanner is nowhere to be found, and its possible that its located under the phones display. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is expected to sport an OLED panel, and its display will measure at least 6 inches. Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 64 bit octa core processor will fuel the Mi Mix 3, while the device will probably support wireless charging.
A 20 megapixel selfie camera is expected to be included in the package as well, while the device will allegedly cost $569 (More than Rs. 60,000 here in Pakistan).
