Few days ago Oppo unveiled the 5G variant of their new Reno line-up in Switzerland and announced that the smartphone will be available from the end of May. Now, Oppo has announced that the sale of the device is starting this week. Alongside the Reno 5G, the first 5G smartphones from Xiaomi and Huawei will also debut in the country this week.
Xiaomi and Huawei has announced that they will launch the Mi MIX 3 and the Mate 20 X in Switzerland this week. All three smartphones boasts top notch specifications on par with the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.
The OPPO Reno with 10X hybrid zoom and the Mi MIX 3 features Snapdragon 855 chipsets, while the Mate 20 X is powered by Huawei’s own HiSilicon Kirin 980. Mi MIX 3 will offer 6GB of and 8GB of RAM, while the other two smartphones only offers the option of 8GB RAM.
Switzerland is the first and currently the only European country to have a nationwide availability of 5G network. The Swiss carrier Sunrise covers more than 150 Swiss cities and will offer full coverage to the whole nation within this year.
