Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi had a time this year, the company has launched several smartphones under budget, mid range and flagship class. The company had quite much dominated the mid range market specifically with their Redmi 6 series.
Xiaomi seems geared up for 2019 as well. This week, the Redmi 7 Pro made its way to the TENNA benchmarking site and now some of the real life pictures of the phone have surfaced online. The pictures confirm some of the already known details about the device.
The Redmi Pro 7 seems to have much thinner bezels as it embraces the water drop notch design that was one of the trends this year. The retail box which is also shown in the images has an orange hue instead of a white or even red box as the series is known for.
Coming to the specs, Redmi 7 Pro will come with a 5.84 inch display and the water drop notch will equip the selfie camera in it while the earpiece and the sensors will be hidden and wont be visible from the outside.
Redmi Pro 7 would be coming with dual rear cameras with 12MP and 5MP sensors. It will have a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. The device is going to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 632 processor coupled with 3 or 4GB of RAM followed by 32 / 64 / 128 GB of onboard storage.
Redmi 7 Pro is expected to be backed by a much smaller battery than the Redmi 6 Pro. The predecessor packed a 4000mah battery, but the 7 Pro is said to sport a 2900mAh battery. The phone would be running on Android 9.0 Pie based MIUI 10. The device is expected to launch in January 2019.
