Samsung is all geared up to release a 5G version of the Galaxy S10, currently codenamed "Beyond X", according to the reports emerged online. The device will be the flagship Galaxy S10 model, which the company could announce at its Galaxy UNPACKED event February 2019.
It will feature a 6.7 inch display with dual curved edges. The highlight of the smartphone will be 5G connectivity, and it will be sold in South Korea and the United States. Samsung has reportedly filed registrations for an SM G977U and an SM G977N, which are designed for the South Korean and North American markets respectively.
The handset will sit on top of the line up as the most premium flagship from the company. Galaxy S10 Beyond X will come with dual camera sensors on the front, and triple camera setup at the back. One of the cameras, each on the front and back, will be Time of Flight (ToF) sensor, for 3D and augmented reality effects.
Samsung is going to announce its Galaxy S10 series in February next year at its Galaxy UNPACKED event. The company also teased a mystery 5G smartphone at the Qualcomm Tech Summit in Hawaii earlier this month.
