Nokia 7.1 Plus Geekbench score reveals the specs just hours before the official unveiling

Nokia has been making major moves in the midrange market over the past few months. HMD Global, the parent company of Nokia is expected to announce a new smartphone today, presumably the Nokia 7.1 Plus.

A Geekbench listing for the Nokia X7 (official name for the phone in China) shows The 7.1 Plus is powered by a Snapdragon 710 and boasts an impressive 6GB of RAM. The Qualcomm made processor is clocked at a frequency of 1.71GHz and was able to achieve a score of 1,827 in the single core results and 5,937 on the multi core score.

The phone is rumored to come with 128GB internal storage. Currently Android 8.1 Oreo is listed on the benchmark. But HMD Globals history of speedy updates hints that Android 9 Pie will likely be pushed out to the smartphone by the end of the year.

From what we know so far, the Nokia 7.1 Plus is expected to feature a 6.1 inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels and a notch just like other Nokia phones in the series.

The 7.1 Plus will also feature a dual camera on rear comprising of a 12MP + 13MP setup with Zeiss branded lenses. The front camera is expected to be 20 MP. The phone is said to be powered by a 3,400 mAh battery.
