Oppos independent sub brand, RealMe has today announced its fifth phone, RealMe U1. The smartphone is an Amazon exclusive product. The RealMe U1 follows the company's focus on offering a combination of style and power at an affordable price.
The RealMe U1 comes with a 6.3 inch 1080p resolution screen with a tiny notch at the top and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, theres also a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect the screen. The phone runs on MediaTeks latest MediaTek P70 octa core chipset, up to 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of onboard storage which is expandable via MicroSD card.
In terms of optics, on the back of the phone is a 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup enhanced with AI. The front of the phone has a 25MP Sony IMX576 sensor with 296 facial detection points and AI capabilities. While n the software front, the U1 runs Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.2 skin on top.
The device is backed by 3,500mAh battery which doesnt support fast charging. The RealMe U1 is available in Ambitious Black, Brave Blue and Fiery Gold colour variants.
