At the Samsung Developer Conference on 7 November, the company unveiled a new user interface called One UI, with an aim to redesign the user experience in a way that it puts less stress on a user's thumbs and fingers as they try to navigate large screen displays.
It was previously known that Samsung One UI would come to the newest flagships of Samsung, namely the Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus, and Galaxy Note 9. However, sources confirm that One UI will also come to the Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus, and Galaxy Note 8.
As of now, Samsung has announced that the beta of One UI is open for sign ups. The beta version rolls out to the Galaxy S9 and the Note 9 in November itself.
Those interested in participating in the beta can download the Samsung Members application from the Galaxy App store or the Google Play Store. After logging in, users can go to Notices and select One UI Beta Program Registration to apply. Once signed up, users need to go to Settings and then update software and select the Download Updates Manually option. This will allow the software to update and load the beta version of One UI.
