A new Samsung flip phone is coming out soon, as an official support page for the device that just went up on Samsung's official website. The company launches one annually for customers in China and South Korea because there's still a market for Flip Phones.
The device subsequently made its official appearance on the TENAA listing indicating that Samsung was planning to release the device in the near future. The upcoming device bears model number SM W2019.
Official renders of the device shows It has two displays one on the lid and one inside, a physical keyboard, and a dedicated Bixby button on the left side. Its going to be a flagship level device. The SM W2019 reportedly features a Snapdragon 845 processor.
Last year's model had a pair of 4.2 inch AMOLED displays with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and by looking at the official renders, the W2019 won't be too different. While recent WiFi certification revealed that the phone will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
Samsung SM W2019 could have 3,000mAh battery powering both 4.2 inch displays. The phone is expected to launch in December holidays but its likely to be sold in China and South Korea only.
