Whatsapp iOS beta update brings UI improvements and Direct video playback from notifications

WhatsApp appears to be rolling out some UI improvements and new features for group calls for iOS in beta. The Facebook owned messaging app recently made its beta app available to the public and now it is reportedly testing another feature for users who often receive video messages.

WhatsApp is said to be testing an in notification video playback feature for the iOS users. Moreover, WhatsApp is getting ready to roll out the Add Contact feature for all users which will make saving a contact easier as well as quick for users without leaving the app. Once a user taps on the 'Add Contact', he or she will see a new section to add a contact. While feeding the number, the app will automatically detect the country code and it will also detect if the new contact is on WhatsApp or not.

The new QR Code option will also come very handy for WhatsApp users. This will let a user share any contact via scanning QR Code. While WhatsApp has recently rolled out the new stickers support for Android as well as iPhone users and there are 12 default WhatsApp sticker packs. The Private Reply feature was also recently introduced for Android beta users with version 2.18.355, it allows you to privately send messages to a member in a WhatsApp group without letting other members in the same group know.
