Xiaomi has started rolling out the most anticipated MIUI 10 update for the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Redmi Note 4. However, the MIUI 10 update is based on almost two year old Android 7 Nougat.
The MIUI 10 based on Android 7 Nougat is now available for the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Redmi Note 4, and users can install the OTA update via the settings menu or can download the recovery ROM from the Xiaomi MIUI official update and then flash it manually.
MIUI for the both the phones comes with a new user interface, including the notification panel similar to the Android 9 Pie official notification panel with support for portrait mode using AI capability. The MIUI 10 for the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also comes with the new gesture based navigation system to improve the overall smartphone user experience.
The interface comes loaded with a host of AI centric features which with the help of deep learning AI will be able to predict that app you may load on to your screen next and open it in the background so you dont experience the one second lag it takes to open an app from the beginning. There will be a zero second instant start.
The recent apps are now shown in card like format, which the company claims make it easier for the user to switch between different apps. Users can swipe to delete the app or long press for deeper actions. Both the Mi Max 2 and Redmi Note 4 now feature Xiaomis latest MIUI 10.
